Youth Activities

We regularly have Youth Activities at Wootton Bassett Methodist Church and will use this page to keep you informed of what fun our Youth are having!

The Junior Church joins with the rest of the Church for the beginning of all morning services, except when there is Holy Communion, when they join us later and share in the Communion with the rest of the Church Family. There are 2 Family Services every quarter. In addition, there is a crèche for the under 3's.

Hot Potatoes is a group for young people to meet together and discuss relevant issues from a Christian point of view, using ice-breakers, sketches and videos. They have had days out to Chessington and Thorpe Park, water fights, sleepovers and more.

Wootton Bassett Churches Together Youth Club is for secondary aged pupils. We meet on Sunday evenings except for Christmas, Easter and the summer holidays. There are a variety of activities, which often involve sports (football, table tennis, walks) with a bit of cooking thrown in, and the occasional quiz and film. Although some of the young people are members of the church, many are not.

Have you been involved in the children's Holiday Club, Light and Laughter Party or other children's activities?

Fun weren't they? Fancy doing it again? Or did you miss out and would like to join in next time?

If the answer to any of the above is 'yes', then please email us and let us know.

To comply with government regulations and the church's 'Safe from Harm' Policy, all children's workers must have the necessary checks.
