Drop-in Lunches - a warm welcome awaits you every Tuesday from 12.00 noon with last orders at 1.00pm. Drop in for a snack, light lunch or just a quick tea or coffee.
The Luncheon Club meets for a sit-down lunch on the 1st Thursday of the month at 12.30pm. Participation is by invitation as this is not a drop-in facility.
Babies and Young Children - our Toddlers group operates on a drop-in basis on Fridays from 10.00 - 11.30am during term time. The Under 5s meet on Friday afternoon from 12.45 - 2.45pm during term time for children from 2½ years to school age.
Hot Potatoes is a group for young people of secondary school age who meet on Friday evenings to look at topics relevant to young people from a Christian perspective. They also have trips to activity centres, Christian concerts and theme parks.
The Youth Club meets in church on Sunday evening during term time from 7.45 - 9.15pm. All young people of secondary school age are welcome.
The Friendship Group is a social group for ladies who enjoy a varied programme of talks, walks and visits. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 7.45pm.
The Women’s Fellowship meets fortnightly on Tuesday afternoons at 2.15pm with a varied programme of religious and general interest topics provided by visiting speakers and members of the church. |
The Men’s Walking Group is a group of church members and friends who meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 1.15pm for local walks. The group is currently undertaking a series of longer all-day walks on The Cotswold Way.
A Ladies Walking Group made up of church members and friends meets on alternate Tuesdays at 9.30am for local walks.
Prayer Groups meet regularly at church and in member’s homes. A ladies prayer group meets in church on Monday at 2.00pm. On Wednesday at 8.00pm everyone is welcome to prayers in church. A long established prayer group meets in member’s homes on Wednesday mornings at 10.00am. Members of home groups regularly pray together.
A Bible Study Group meets in member’s homes on the 2nd and 4th Thursday mornings at 11.00pm.
Several Home Groups meet for Bible study, to pray together and enjoy social activities. Some of these groups were formed after people had first come together as part of one of our Alpha courses.
The Church Choir meets every Friday at 7.45pm in the church. Apart from normal rehearsals for church services, they also prepare concert material to take to Senior Citizen Homes and our smaller chapels. Additional voices are always welcome. |
